Yeo’s Journey
Revenant had the unique opportunity to create a new immersive experience within Cox’s Cave at Cheddar Gorge and Caves in Somerset, England.

Sculpted in Zbrush

I was tasked with creating a number of low poly assets for the numerous scenes. These assets had to be recognisable but had to work with the style as well.
Each asset was sculpted in zbrush.

Animals were made to their specific use. Some higher quality than others. The birds included in the scenes needed individual feathers to sell the animation and give flexibility to the animator.

I was able to assist in animation. Below are some examples of animations I worked on. Many more can be seen in the final.
Each asset was rigged and animated in maya. I used Advanced Skeleton to speed up the process of rigging.

The final stage was to bring everything together. The team worked tirelessly to create these satisfying renders with a pleasing, simple and clean style.
Each animal included is a real animal which can be seen at Cheddar Gorge and the final scene depicts a bird flying over the Village of Cheddar
